The Spatial Systems Toolkit is a growing collection of hardware and software tools for understanding, operating, and improving physical environments. The toolkit brings together sensing, data collection, visualization, interaction analysis, and prototyping to explore how spatial conditions influence customer behavior, operational decisions, and experience performance.

I. Spatial Interaction Module
The Spatial Interaction Module combines depth sensing and thermal imaging to measure how customers approach, occupy, and engage with a physical area. The module provides a privacy-conscious alternative to traditional video capture while helping businesses evaluate traffic, dwell, proximity, and interaction patterns to inform decisions around layout, merchandising, placement, and overall experience performance.
II. Interaction Validation Module
The Interaction Validation Module combines proximity, environmental, and motion sensing to verify when customers physically engage with a display, fixture, or product. The module helps businesses distinguish intentional interaction from passive traffic, creating a more reliable foundation for evaluating merchandising performance, fixture effectiveness, and customer engagement.
III. Environmental Experience Module
The Environmental Experience Module measures ambient conditions that influence comfort, perception, and overall experience quality within a physical space. By tracking factors such as temperature, humidity, air quality, and atmospheric conditions, the module helps businesses identify environmental patterns that may affect customer dwell, engagement, and operational performance.
IV. Rhinoceros 3D Alias Macropad
The Rhinoceros 3D Alias Macropad is a compact input device designed to streamline repetitive modeling and drafting workflows. A dedicated numerical keypad supports rapid dimensional input, while eight programmable alias keys provide quick access to twelve frequently used Rhino commands through individual and combined key functions. By placing commonly used aliases on a dedicated physical interface, the macropad supports faster command entry and a more focused production workflow.
V. Color Verification Scanner
The Color Verification Scanner uses multispectral sensing to capture and compare color information from physical materials, products, and surfaces. Designed for spatial, merchandising, and fabrication workflows, the scanner supports consistent documentation of finishes, comparison against reference samples, and verification of color across displays, signage, and environmental elements.
